Can anyone help with the note about Lars (circled)?

Does it relate to his age?

I thought that is what I had been told previously.   However, he is paying tax again in 1705, but no longer paying in 1707, so it was a bit confusing.

Even if he was overaged he could be paying 'mantalspeng' if he wad responsible of the farming.
