Greetings,
I am seeking help with the notes for Jacob Olsson 1767 on Käringöns kyrkoarkiv, Husförhörslängder, SE/GLA/13307/A I/1 (1787-1848), Image ID: C0041430_00130, page 5 (attached).
There is something about a (?).."bevis".. "Skredvicks"..(kyrkobola?).."död" (evidence, Skredvicks, died).
Any help you can give me in making sense of the notes would be greatly appreciated.

It say: "Enl.(igt) bevis utur Skredsviks kyrkobok ? död", according to evidence from Skredsvik's church book ? dead. So it looks like he died and was buried in Skredsvik, but I checked their death record and did not found a record, but I could have missed it.

This is strange, his death record is found in Käringöns kyrkoarkiv, Födelse- och dopböcker, SE/GLA/13307/C/1 (1795-1898), bildid: C0041434_00048

Could it be that he died in Skredsvik's (where he was born)? Could he have been visiting? His death record says he died from "magplågor" = stomach pains.

"Enl. bevis utur Skredsviks kyrkobok" must refer to his birthdate - which then proves that he was born in that parish. There are no birthdates in the previous household examinations, just the persons ages. Here the priest has noted the exact birthdate for everyone. So he must have asked for a certficate from Skredsvik. And you can see similar notes on some other persons too.
And there is a blank space between "kyrkobok" and "död" (the 'hook' there is probably just a dot with a personal touch :) ). So "död" is written afterwards, and has nothing to do with Skredsvik.
