Yes, that's correct. The "Dof 60" might be the amount they had to pay to the church för the procedure, but it is just my guess, I don't know.

I didn't want to write the information into my family history without some confirmation. That old writing style is hard to decipher (for me anyway).

The amount is the morning gift, the insurance for the wife in case the became a widow. The abbreviation Dr K means daler koppar(mynt). The abbreviation Doh(?) might be the latin word for gift, donum.

Thanks Kristina. That would explain why the two other couples who are listed on the same line paid 100 and 200 while my ancestors paid 60.

Yes, and if you look at other pages (42, 43, 52, 53) you will see the word "morgongåfva".
