The descriptive title for Sten Jönsson changed on this household record to what I think is either "inhyses" meaning a person living in someone else's house without paying rent or "inhyseshjon" meaning a (poor) person living in someone else's house. without paying rent. Sometimes ordered by the local community council (sockenstämma) to care for poor people. I am not sure which - can anyone tell what it says? Also, something else has been crossed out that I cannot read. Can anyone tell what it said before being crossed out?
Thank you for any help you can offer!

Hi,
It is most certainly just "inhyses". Sten is retired and the son Jonas, below, is running the farm.
The crossed out title is "Brukare". Also see AI:1 p.40.

Thanks so much for the explanation. I did see that his age was 59+ so wondered if he was retired. I checked AI:1 p. 40 and see the abbreviation Br which I now know is brukare. :)
Your help is much appreciated,
