Titel: Tveta, Vista, and Mo court record
Skrivet av: John Koning skrivet 2020-02-25, 04:19
Hello,

I have been trying to trace Anna Amanda Maria Svensson who was born in Nässjö Förs., Jönköpings Län, on 24 May 1871 and emigrated to America in 1890 (Nässjö AI:29, page 27). A note was added to the HFL entry many years later indicating that Anna had been declared dead by the Tveta, Vista, and Mo court on 19 Mar 1940, act no. 308. I would like to investigate this court ruling, but I have not been able to find these records online. My questions: Are these court records online? If so, where may I find them? If not, is there some other way in which I can get a copy of the court record?

Thanks, John

Hello John!

Those court records have not yet been scanned; generally older material is prioritized.
You can, however, order a copy for a small fee using this form...

...which does not seem to be available in English.
The cost is normally very low, especially if you can provide a detailed description of the records you want.

Regards
Erik
