Hello,
Please forgive my lack of swedish. I am looking for the family of my grandmother,Gertrude Wiik or Vik of Orebo.
I do not know when she was born but she came to the USA at a young age and married my grandfather,Albert Stadig in Cambridge,Massachusetts on December,11,1911.
I would assume that she might have been born around 1880?
My mother and I would appreciate any information on her family.

Gertrud Wilhelmina Wik b 1885-02-03 in Sköllersta parish, Närke.
Emigration certificate from Örebro in 1905-09-01.
Lived at Kilsgatan street, Örebro.
Occupation: factory worker. Unmarried. Travelled alone.
Not found on swedish emigrant CD. May have left through Norway or Denmark.

Is there any information on her family? Her sister,Esther also came to the USA,but I don't no when. She married John Eriksson and lived in California.

Lived at Nybygget in Svennevad.
