Our family has always believed that Lusse inherited the Inn at Örkelljunga from her father. I haven't been able to document this and can't even verify her parents. I believe her parents were Ola (Olof) Olsson and Nilla Gunnarsdotter but birth records don't go back that far. Lusse's husband was Bengt Pehrsson and there is good documentation that he was the innkeeper at Örkelljunga in the early 18th century. Just trying to verify this info.

There were two inns in Örkelljunga. No Bengt Persson in 1820-1824.

Lusse was born about 1701 in Örkelljunga and died 14 Sept 1767. Her husband Bengt was born about 1696 and died 24 March 1766.

These records are 100 years later than when Bengt was the innkeeper. His son, Johannes Petter Bengtsson became innkeeper in 1764. Then his son, Carl Magnus Johansson took over upon his father's death. He is the innkeeper in the first image. It's interesting that Christen Wittsell is innkeeper at the second Inn. His wife is my 2nd great aunt and her brother Isaac Schenck, my 2nd ggrandfather is also there. So looks like alot of my ancestors were involved in the inns at Örkelljunga.
