I would appreciate some help translating the first paragraph of Hans Andersson's arvskifte (will) from Svensbyn, Piteå Lfs.

Hans appears to have died in 1783 but the names of the children listed do not tally with those that I have so I am wondering if the first paragraph explains things.

 "List of Hans Andersson's in Svensbyn left belongings, that is valued and split between his wife and four children, after in his lifetime made "Power of appointment", as follows..."

I don't know much about wills but "förordnanden" seems to translate to "Power of appointment". I don't know if that changes anything.

It is a little funny that they write "four children" and name the sons Anders, Olof, Adam and Pehr, and the daughter Anna. That seems like five to me.
