I am not able to translate where Lilly Heneritta Constintina Peterson moves to on Göteborgs Gustavi B1:3 page 482. I know “fattig” = poor, but can’t decipher the rest. Was it some type of poorhouse?


Could you also please tell me the cause of her death listed on Göteborgs Gustavi F9 image 68 (she died 24 Nov 1891). I think it was a lung infection?

Fattigvården = care for the poor and old. Not very easy to find, in the volume index it is named Försörjningshemmet but the more common name is Gibraltar, Göteborgs Domkyrkoförsamling AIa:62 (1889-1899) Bild 284 / sid 275 (AID: v35254.b284.s275, NAD: SE/GLA/13180).


Lunginflammation = pneumonia.
