Hello all,
After several years, I'm just getting back into genealogy and restarting the search for the origin of one of my earliest Swedish ancestors. His name was Nils Hansson Bargren and he was a soldier in the Svea Livgarde. His marriage record indicates he was a member of Captain Wrangels company. I just subscribed to arkivdigital.net for online access. I was never very good transcribing/translating these old Swedish records.
I'd appreciate if someone with experience and access to the Generalmönsterrullor could look at the following and help me understand what is there;
Entry #83
Generalmönsterrullor - Svea livgarde 1126 (1728-1728) Image 5460 / page 1095
(AID: v437265.b5460.s1095, NAD: SE/KrA/0023)
Do I understand that this person was 36 years old at that time and had become a soldier in 1719?
What is the best way to work forward and backward in time looking for this person?
Thanks for any and all help,
Art Berggreen

Is this solved or are you still hoping for an answer?
