These are the way the names are in 1890 Swedish Census. Marta was a daughter of Nils Ljung and Sigrid Pettersdotter, born in Aflo 18 Mar 1868.
I wish to have more information on this family, especially to find living relatives.

Edvard M. Carlsen Strom was born in Aakerhusvald, Verdal, Norway 5/3 1861 by Carl Johan Caspersen, Farmer in Aakerhusvald born 27/3 1829 in Aakerhusvald and Ingeborg Anna Evensdatter born 9/2 1835 in Vistvald, Verdal. His parents married in Stiklestad, Verdal 23/10 1860.
Edvard moved to Sweden 5/2 1883, married Marta 26/5 1890 in Offerdal. They then live at the Sawmill in Trangsviken, Alsen (Edvard, Marta and their son Carl Johan, born 1890).

These are the Strom children; Carl Johan born 1890 2/9 at the Sawmill in Trangsviken, Alsen, died at the same place 1891 24/8, Emma born 1892 4/1 at the same Sawmill, died in Duved, Are 1973 1/5, Edvard born at the same Sawmill 1893 18/11, died at the same place 1893 19/11, Kristina, born 1893 18/11 (twins), died at the same place 1893 20/11, Ludvig, born 1894 2/10 in Brasta, Hallen, Viktor, born 1896 29/5 in Brasta, Hallen, Marta Linnea, born 1903 17/11 in Mattmar, died 1975 15/10 in Duved, Are and finally Nils, born 1905 1/5 in Trangsviken, Alsen, died 1971 18/2 at Centrumvagen 5, Brunflo. (All addresses are in wesern Jemtland, Sweden).
Emma married a man named Jonsson, who died 1966 16/3, probably in Duved, Are.
Marta Linnea married a man named Westerberg, who died 1960 6/8, probably also in Duved, Are.
Nils 1935 3/8 married a girl by the name Syster Nina Viola, who was born in Kall, Jemtland 1901 12/11 and who died in Brunflo 1988 29/3 at the same address as her husband (see above).
The Strom family 1909 moves from Hallen to Are, probably Duved. I cannot provide with further information but i am sure someone researcher from Are/Duved or Brunflo can give you more information - as I remember you were looking for now living relatives?
By the way - which one of the children is your relative?

OBS! Skriv datum så att det ej blir misstag!
T ex skriv: 1890, sept,2 i st f 1890 2/9.

I must thank everyone! You have all been a great help in answering my question.
It is so good of you to answer in English!
Just one thing I wish to say about the dates is that I actually like it the way the dates are on the discussions, example - 2 Apr 2005.
I still hope to find living relatives.
Many thanks!
Georgina
