Titel: Help with translation of note in household census

Attached is an image taken from the Valla Household Examination Records 1872-1881.  Line number 14 is Carl Andreasson.  There is a note before his name that I cannot make out.  I believe the last word before his name is sailor.  Unfortunately this line is crossed out which makes it harder to read.
Can any one figure out what this note says?

It's hard to decipher the first letters (if it is letters  :) ), but then it says "Svågern, f.d. sjömannen" (brother-in-law, former sailor). Brother-in-law must be in relation to Anders Jonasson on line 1, who's married to Albertina Charlotta Andreasdotter.

Line 14 is crossed out because Carl Andreasson has been moved up to line 8. He's then married and has taken over the farm.

Thank you so much for your help.  You are correct Albertina Charlotta was Carl's sister.
