Jeff! I have parts of some letters written by Selma Peterson. She was one of Jacob Petersons daughters. It is a pity the letter is not complete. As you can see from the letter Selma also had a sister Sara(?) or Jona(?) who had a small child. I have not found her sister in the 1900 United States Federal Census. Selma had a sister Johanna but she was two years younger than Selma and born about 1896. Since the letter was witten abou 1911 it is a bit strange. To young for a child! Is Johanna and Jona the same name?
In a letter written in Swedish Selma was writing about her sister Victoria. She also mention John, uncle Frans and his dea wife Venla. Frans, Josef and Uno are Selmas Swedish cousions.
