My mother was Hilma Charlotta Hardberg, born 1909 in South Shields, England and died in 1974. Her father was Gustaf Magnus Hardberg, born in Sweden in 1871 and died at sea in 1916. These same names are entered above but they are not the same people, as they were born earlier. I have no knowledge of my grandfather's family. Can anyone connect my mother and grandfather with any of the people mentioned above. Hilma had 3 children, and has 24 descendents here in England. I can supply some photographs and information if anyone is looking for these people. I think that my mother and grandfather could be related to the two similar names above, as it is too much of a co-incidence for the two names to appear together in the same area of Sweden (Blekinge).
