Sven was born in Västra Kåhlberga., and his parents were Per Bengtsson and Brita Svensdotter.
The family moved in 1735/36 to Timmermon, where they lived until 1741. In 1754 Per and Brita moved to Åtorp together with their daughter Kerstin and her husband Olof Olofsson.
