When you say that you think that you found his birth record in Habo I guess you know about him in USA (or another country that he emigrated to) and that you have read "born on March 19 1862 Jönköpings län". If not you have perhaps only found a record mentioning a man with that name born in the Jönköping area around the year 1862. If so we can find other possible candidates for you on the Jönköping disc. Just let me know and I can check the disc more carefuully. I have at least 6-7 persons with the name Oskar Alfred Johansson/Johnsson in the Jönköping area born around 1861-1863.
