Hi Harriet,  It is so difficult when dealing with name changes once these people immigrated to N. America.  According Canadian records on John Albert Jackson mentioned above, his father was John Jackson.  The John given name could be representive of the farmers name Jonas you found, but Jonas's last name was Pehrsson not Jackson.  However, in American records the father's surname back in Sweden is often given as the same as the son who immigrated which in this case was Jackson.  (Have I confused you yet?)
And the Canadian information on the mother's name for John Albert Jackson was given as Christina Lenburn?  The Christina works for your Eva Christina Johansdotter, but the Lenburn surname is questionable at this end yet.   So it is possible you are on the right line.
The couple mentioned in the previous message were married in Sweden before immigrating.  They would have been married about 1880.  We will keep plugging away.  The brick wall will come tumbling down sooner or later.
