I'm not absolutely confident that Matts Arvidsson is my ancestor, but he's currently attached to my tree on Geni (I have my own trees elsewhere). He is listed on WikiTree, which is more reliable than many trees because it requires documentation, but no father is assigned.
The question is about the man they have assigned as his father, Arvid Arvidsson Hierta, ca 1410 in Vastra Gotaland, where he supposedly also died. On other trees, his name is given as Arvid Arvidsson Drake of Hintorp.
I think both of these are wishful thinking and not based in reality. I've been trying to get the Geni tree changed but have had no luck.
Does anyone have any information on this subject?

Many bad merges in that part of the Geni tree.
False connections have been removed and the profile has been locked.

Thank you so much for your help. My great-grandparents, Carolina Persdotter (1862-1945) and August Persson/Peterson (1852-1897), were both born in Kyrkviken, Ljusnarsberg, so I'm sure I have many relatives in the area.
