Thanks Stefan for your informative post. I have learnt a lot from trying to read the original records, and of course it is best practice to use them. I have to say I have had no luck with the original movement records, so you have demonstrated the benefit of accessing the CD very clearly too. Thanks also to listers for allowing this thread here. elbe
