Good morning, Ann-Britt,
Atleast,it's morning here in the East coast of the US. Due to the July 4th holiday, I have off from work and appreciate your getting back to me while at work.
I have been doing my research on my Norwegian and Swedish relatives using the Mormon church records. I currently have access to the St. Johannes and St.Hedvig's records.
I definitely will be ordering the records for Risinge. After your previous email, I have been doing research on Finspang on the web. Thanks for the web address.
Great information about Samuel's father Anders. My father, Evert, does read and speak Swedish, but the older words for occupations is too challenging for us. I have used the Roots Web site for some translations. We think that some of the records about Samuel de Grade translates to his being in the military?? Any assistance from you would be greatly appreciated.
