Marianne: Thanks for the added infromation. Eric Andersson was married twice. First to Brita Persdotter. I am not sure where this marriage took place or where their first 3 children, Cherstin born about 1690, Gertrud born about 1692, and Pehr born about 1693, were born. The last 4, Sven born 1698, Bengta born 1701, Karin born 1704, and Nils born 1712 were born in Mörlunda.
Aspeland Harad Court records Oct 1700 entry #14 States Per Hemmingsson of Giöseboo(Högsby sn) summoned Erick of Fargshult to court claiming that Erick's wife Brita Persdotter stole from him during the time Erick worked for him. Per Hemmingsson says that Brita stole a ring, silver ?, gloves, 2 ??, 1 ??. He has no witness but claims that it is true. Erich and his wife were present and denied the claim. Erich showed an extract of Handsfors Harad 19 Oct 1674 showing that Anna Nilsdotter (I think) was brought to court for same thing. Resolution is postponed until the extract can be gotten. This record shows that Eric and Brita were in Högsby socken for a period of time but I did not find a marriage for them or CHR for any of the first 3 children. Brita died 1717 and then Eric married Maria Larsdotter later in 1717. Eric and Maria had 4 children all born in Mörlunda: Brita born 1718, Christen born 1721, Wendela born 1724, and Elin born 1728.
