In the local newspaper, Västervikstidningen, (http://www.vt.se/) there was an article about a new book in january 2000. It's called Svenska fyrar/Swedish lighthouses and is written by Magnus Rietz. The article says that Storkläppen lighthouse is built on a wooden beacon from Svenska Högarna. Rietz writes that the lighthouse looks like the sauna in a James Bond movie: A square-shaped conical wooden box, where the heads are sticking up through holes on the top
