Mats, thank you very much. My ambition is to hand over copies of fragments of letters written by Selma Petterson when she was a youth and also to tell my american relatives (if there are any) about their Swedish anscesters. Selma also says in one of her letters from 1910-11 that she had an uncle Jacob Petersson. His wife Vendla (Venla) was dead when she wrote the letter. Jacob Alfred Pettersson was born 1862-04-30 in Karlsbo (Åby parish) and his wifes name was Venla Carolina Karlsdotter, born 1865-04-13 i Kråkshult parish. They had a son whose name was John. Jacob went to America 1887-08-22. I guess the family settled down i Minnesota but I am not sure. If you could help me to find this family too I would be glad.
