I have found my Swedish relatives in the 1890 census in Skaraborg County in Kvänums (or Qvänums) which is SVAR volume000297 Card nr: 18 Page: 15 Row: 18. My question is under Gustaf Pettersson's name the category other details says D 1577/1892. Do you know what this means or where I could find more information?  I have e-mailed professional researchers and nobody knows what this code means!

Could it be D 15/7 1892? Which could mean that he died 15 july 1892.
 
But would that really be in the 1890 census?

I think that 1892 was the year he did his military duty and the number 1577 can be the number he was assigned at his military company.
